liddle griddle

I lived at my sister's for the past 5 months and just moved to the cutest house in arlington. The other day, i returned from a long, stressful day at work and found a package addressed to me. I was totally confused/scared because i hadn't ordered anything online as of late. I opened it and TO MY SURPRISE, my sister had bought me the liddle griddle. It is the cutest cooking device i have ever seen in my life. For those of you who don't know, i love griddles. I have never owned one, but whenever i went home to ohio or when i was living with my sister i used the griddle multiple times a week. It was the best surprise a french-toast, and grilled cheese lovin' girl could ask for. Here is the liddle griddle on its first liddle adventure...

foodie friday

i decided that since there are so many cute little restaurants near my office, every friday i would venture out and try a new one. some of my co-workers always talk about this cafe just around the corner called camille's. i was able to go this past friday and i would say that it is pretty comparable to a panera bread minus the soups. i got the italian roast beef panini: focaccia bread, roast beef, provolone, tomatoes, red onions, pesto-mayo. it was delicous. of course, i am a little biased because i think anything with roast beef is great. also, you cant go wrong serving it with chips and salsa. up next week: california tortilla.

gem

i'm going to tell a little story. for the past few months i have been searching for a cute, versatile necklace because my current one was a bit outdated. i ran across a gem at urban outfitters a few weeks ago, but for some reason couldn't bring myself to spend almost $40. as the weeks passed, i found myself popping back into that same UO to keep my eye on that little gem. finally, this past monday i was coming back from lunch and i decided to do my weekly gem check. one of the best decisions of my life. i found that the necklace i had been fawning over for the past few weeks was on sale: $9.99. need i say more?

team effort.

there were a lot of key players that made their debut today. three to be exact. 1.) burt's bees daily moisturizing cream. 2.) loreal's infallible eyeliner 3.) hot tools 1.5" curling iron (not pictured). the moisturizer and eyeliner were actually impulse buys on my trip to ulta yesterday, but they DID NOT disappoint. ive been wanting the curling iron for a while now and so far it has scored some major points.

potential future recruits: smashbox photo finish foundation and eyelid primers.
